DFAIT-CAMECO-CBIE Aboriginal Essay Competition 2010

A unique program designed to encourage young Aboriginal people to engage in Canadian foreign affairs and international trade.
First prize: All expenses paid trip to a major international conference, as part of a Canadian delegation PLUS an all expenses paid trip to Ottawa for meetings and information sessions at DFAIT
Two runners up: All expenses paid trip to Ottawa for meetings and information sessions at DFAIT
ELIGIBILITY: Competition open to Aboriginal students currently studying towards an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree at a Canadian institution.
REQUIREMENTS: Submissions should discuss Aboriginal peoples’ contribution to Canada’s international relations and/or links between Aboriginal peoples and international issues.
Please submit English or French essay of between 1500 and 2000 words in MS Word or PDF. Essays should be double-spaced in 12 point Times New Roman or similar font.
DEADLINE: April 7, 2010 at 11:59:59 EST.
