Supporting the education sector broadly in the pursuit of international education initiatives, CBIE offers first class conferences - packed with the latest developments in international education. Through our conferences, we give voice to national issues and priorities in international education.

Professional development and networking opportunities are a key component of CBIE's Annual and Regional Conferences. We offer practical and theoretical sessions across the international education spectrum.

44th CBIE Annual Conference

The Canadian International Education Conference
October 20-23, 2010 - Calgary, Alberta

Held in cooperation with the Conference of the Americas on International Education (CAIE)

CBIE’s 44th Annual Conference addresses the theme: Internationalization: Essential Building Block to Quality in 21st Century Education.

This year we are connecting our Conference with a major new event, the Conference of the Americas on International Education, allowing for value-added learning, networking and partnership-building for CBIE’s membership and supporters. Join us in developing a new space in which the educational institutions of the Americas can meet to discuss issues in internationalization on a hemispheric scale. At the same time, we will offer the comprehensive selection of sessions and activities that are the hallmark of CBIE’s Annual Conference including pre-conference programs, interactive workshops, and networking events.
